Went out for some quality girl time with one of my good friends last night. We went to go see a sneak preview of Pineapple Express (which, on a side note, was just ok). ANYWAY, she tells me that she started dating a new guy! I’m so excited for her. She’s VERY picky, so I knew this guy had to be a good one. He’s cute, he’s funny, he’s smart…for the most part, she tells me things are going well.
That is, until this past weekend, when he dropped a BOMB on her: He has a KID from a previous relationship.
My girl and I are on the same page when it comes to kids…someday, for sure. But, like me, my friend is in her early twenties. She’s no where NEAR ready to have her OWN kids yet, nevermind help her boyfriend take care of his!
I didn’t really know what to tell her, so that’s why I’m going to you guys.
Should she ditch him because he has a kid?
Are guys with kids only looking for a serious relationship?
Is there a lot of baggage when you date a guy with a kid?
Discuss.

I realized something today.
I would never date a man who wore tights.
Unless he was
A) Playing Robin Hood in a local theatre production
or B)….
Yeah, I just wouldn’t.
Apparently, men in pantyhose are the next big thing.
Would YOU date a man who wore tights?

Andrew McMahon, the lead singer of my two favorite bands, Something Corporate and Jack’s Mannequin, is pretty much my hero.
My friends and I just scored our tickets to see Jack’s Mannequin in Buffalo @ the Towne Ballroom August 20th, and I am soooo excited.
During the past few years Andrew has gone through some pretty serious stuff. So serious, he has a crew working on a documentary about him. Check out what I mean by watching the trailer for the movie Dear Jack.

This morning, Spezzano & Sandy announced that Secondhand Serenade is coming to our 98 PXY Summer Jam (along with Chris Willis, Tyga & We the Kings)! Secondhand Serenade, aka John Vesely, paid a visit to our studios a few months ago to perform his now SMASH song “Fall for You.” Jon was super cool! And, might I add…VERY flirty with me.Now, don’t take this the wrong way. I’m no groupie. And MY boy is way cuter than he is. But girls, isn’t it nice to get a little ego boost once in a while?
Well, the ego has been deflated. Click on the icon to listen to what he said when Spezzano & Sandy brought it up this morning…

Ouch! Nice to know he only hit on me because he was DELIRIOUS.
Sheesh.
Have you ever been dissed by a guy? Tell me your stories…

Anyone who reads my blog knows I have a growing and undying love for the fabulosity of SHUTTER SHADES.
Well, I DID anyway.
I stopped by the Vans Warped Tour @ Darien Lake after my show last week, and I was shocked and appauled to see THIS:
There were tables and tables of them. All colors, shapes, and sizes. Look at how ugly and cheap they all look stacked together? They don’t look special anymore. The love is gone.
I need a new obsession.

AUBREY O’DAY (the most popular member of Diddy’s girl band DANITY KANE) is coming out with her own line of T-Shirts, doggy outfits, and (yikes) panties called “Heart On My Sleeve.”
Frankly, I think you could find any of these shirts at Rue or Forever 21 for way cheaper. But I AM thinking of scoring myself these…
…What?

One of my least favorite parts of the weekend happens on Sunday morning.
The routine goes like this:
I open my eyes. I realize I have a wicked headache. I realize I probably had too much fun the night before. I blindly reach for my phone. I try to focus as I read my text messages from the night before. I hate myself.
I’m happy to report that this weekend I did not send a SINGLE drunk text or dial. Yay for me! (But it was because I was in Syracuse without my phone charger and my phone died. Hey, progress is progress!) A few of the girls I was with at my friend’s graduation party weren’t so lucky. My friend decided to call her ex and rub in how much fun she was having, and regretted it the next morning.
I’ve done my share of drunk dials and texts that I’ve regretted. Exs, bosses, co-workers, etc. Sometimes they end up pretty well…but the majority of them turn out to be a BAD idea. If you happen to scroll through my phone, you’ll see some contacts in my address book labeled “DO NOT TEXT,” to remind myself to behave after I’ve had a few drinks!
Have you ever sent a drunk text or made a drunk dial you’ve regretted? When is it okay to drunk dial or text?

Your first look at THE JONAS BROTHERS on the cover of the new issue of Rolling Stone.
Is anyone else creeped out by the way Kevin is grabbing Joe’s shirt?Other than that…hot cover.

So I was hanging out at my neighborhood bar, Prepps, and I saw this scribbled on the soap dispenser in the girls bathroom.
Um…anyone have any theories WHY?My guess is a DJ couldn’t hold his bladder.Oh, and I was…so I did.
