Back from “Vacation!”

Today’s my first day back to work from my mini-vacation! Here’s some crappy pics from my cell phone (cause I lost my camera charger when I moved. Oops.)

My vacay started Wednesday night when I saw Jack’s Mannequin @ Towne Ballroom in Buffalo. They closed with a cover of Tom Petty’s “American Girl!” You can’t go wrong!

Friday night it was TORONTO time! The Red Sox (my FAVORITE) were playing the Blue Jays all weekend long. I think this is the closest I’ll ever get to my future husband, Jonathan Papelbon, without a restraining order.

Of COURSE I went to Saturday’s game too (I’m a diehard!) This is the view from my seats. Along with my Target flats.

My hotel totally sucked. The room was small, cramped, hot, and the freakin fire alarm kept going off! (At 4:30am…awesome).

Last time I was in Toronto I was in a way nicer hotel…and this dude was chillin in the lobby.
His name is Franky. Franky makes me miss nice hotels with functional fire alarms.

Yonge Street is kind of the main street of Tornoto. TONS of shops, restaurants, and sweet abandoned buildings like this one. I could spend all day walking up and down Yonge Street.

I didn’t really get to do much shopping this trip…I’m saving that for next month when I go BACK to Toronto to see one of the grestest bands ever.

No. Yonge street is the appetizer of shopping for out-of-towners. Queen St. is where you want to be. I live in Toronto, you should write about these things before you come into town, and then I could give you some expert shopping advice, or meet up with you and go with you since I love shopping too.

    :)

Glad you had a good time here…Also, I could reccomend a better hotel.

I’m down! Are there any good vintage shops?

I’m an Urban Outfitters & American Apparrel whore cause we don’t have them in the ROC haha

YES…there’s friggen amazing vintage shops (The Black Market is the main one, in fact it’s so big they have one on either side of the street) on Queen and many other stores that will just make you cry because there isn’t enough time in one day to go to all of them ! And yeah, they have American Apparrel and Urban Outfitters, but for that, we’ll go to the one on College right before we end our day of shopping, and then begin a night out of drinking…which should always start on College.

I could totally map this out, and have a lot of fun doing it. My friend Anna and I need to buy new dresses for a club also on College called, The Mod Club…we should go to that too…When are you coming down again?
