I didn’t write about it yesterday because I was honestly still in recovery mode…but the TOM PETTY concert at Darien Lake was AMAZING.

It’s not because I’m a diehard Petty fan (but don’t think I wasn’t singing loudly and dancing like an idiot to every song).

It’s because I went to the concert with my BEST friends. We all went our seperate ways after graduation…Watertown, Syracuse, Albany, Virginia…so Saturday was one big reunion.  From shopping beforehand at Tops to the ride up to tailgating to the show itself (where it POURED), there is not one moment on Saturday where I didn’t have a smile on my face.

I haven’t talked to some of my friends in months…but when we were all together, it was like a single day hadn’t gone by. 

I don’t mean to make this blog all Judy Blume novel-ish. I’m just saying how lucky I am to have friends as great as mine…friends who can make a huge thunderstorm the best time of my life.  

I’m sad. I miss them already.
