I went to a certain large bookstore chain last week to buy the new Sex & The City: The Movie BOOK. Because I’m a freak. And I wasn’t totally broke last week.
The employees at this establishment had NO idea what I was talking about.
I left with two lindt chocolate balls and a tear in my eye.
Today, I find out from a co-freak who owns it that the book not only gives a play by play recap of the plot & pages of quotes, BUT it also gives details of EVERY SINGLE OUTFIT worn throughout the two-plus hours of glory.
I’d go somewhere else to snatch it up, but THIS week, I’m broke. Damn you, $4 beers at East End Fest.

I am soooo sorry to hear that you did not get the book. I agree…damn those $4 beers at East End Fest!! Sadly, I have never seen Sex & The City! But I’m hearing all the hype from my 28-year old niece. She is hooked! She has Stage IV Lung cancer and just found out last week that it has traveled to the brain. She is terrified and watching her DVD set of SATC every day for comfort. I personally LOVE Kid Rock and I believe she does too. I’m just not in the spirits to make this reply funny or witty, like I usually would. I’m just passionately stating that I think a small bunch of family members taking her to Kid Rock’s concert would bring her spirits up INCREDIBLY. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider us for Kid Rock’s concert on August 20th!

Megan, well I can’t lie, I am a guy and I have watched an episode of Sex and the City before and I’m really not ashamed to say that. That’s too bad you didn’t get to see it, but hey look at the bright side of it; Now you have the book with pictures of tons of outfits…can you say TREND SETTER! Now you’ve got the edge on style and I’m sure you will eventually get to see the movie too. Lol and the beers, well for $4 it must have been some good beer. Oh well. Thanks for putting the pictures up from your NEW Sex and the City book, even though I’m a guy they looks pretty cool. Oh yea, and those Kidd Rock concert tickets would deff. be awesome to see and I would gladly appreciate them. I’ll tell you what, if you throw me those tickets, I will buy you a movie giftcard and then when I come to the studio to pick up my tickets we can make a tradeoff. It’s a win-win because you will have a movie giftcard so you can then go and see Sex and The City and I will be a happy camper knowing I have a Kidd Rock concert to attend. Well let me know lol. As someone who watched the show religiously everyweek on HBO…I’m going to go ahead and disagree with you and say that the SATC Movie was 2hrs and tooo many minutes of AWFULNESS!! Where were the guys? Did we reallly need to re-live another Carrie/Big charade?? Steve a cheater?? Stannie and Anthony an item?? WHAT!? The series ending was PERFECTION back 4yrs ago, something that should not have been tooled with. I just bumped SJP off my “Top 10 Celebs I want to meet” list for producing that film. Then again maybe I would like to meet her and ask her what the significance of the microphones hanging down in everyother scene was all about. I am sick over the fact that so many people are going to see this movie and giving it rave reviews… I’m just sitting here scratching my head over how anyone could say that it lived up to the actual show! Sorry! Please Hollywood stop this nonsense and leave television ALONE! I swear if Friends even considers going down that road… I will die. Sorry!
