Oh man…tonight is a big night.
For the first time in ten years, I’ll be seeing HANSON in concert. OMG.
Yes. I said OMG.
TAYLOR HANSON was my first BIG celebrity crush. I’m talking pictures all over the wall, in my locker, in my wallet. See that picture of HANSON on the Eggo Waffles box above? I have the actual Eggo box stored away at my parent’s house somewhere.

BUT Surprise, it’s not who you all think it was going to be!
Ladies and Gentleman….As a former reader of every teen magazine on the stands -including the highest-priced one (at the time)- BOP, I was madly in love with Devon Sawa…The Real Live Boy from Casper The Friendly Ghost…went on to be in Now and Then (which I bought with my baby-sittin money at 12), and then on to many sinking movies in the box-ffice.
Oh he was blonde and blue-eyed…So perfectly handsome…
Posters ALL OVER my room, there was no need for paint or wall-paper. Just no need, I had Devon, and I was going to marry him one day. Yes I most certainly was. From ages 11-13 Devon was all mine, I don’t care if you too had pictures of him, ask anyone who knows me.
My mom kept all the posters, poems, anything and everything I had to do with him. Unfortunately my much older brother loves to entertain any new boyfriends I have ever brought home. If we’re not at mom and dad’s he’ll tell stories, once we’re there, he produces the actual evidence. Extremely embarrasing.
My advice to any current teeny-boppers out there is to burn all your posters after your through with them, because believe me, one day you will be. I promise.

hanson was sweet their mmm bob cd was my first cd ever and they were like sooo cute! lol but jtt was my first crush crush. i even had to watch the lion king because he did simbas voice! gosh to be a little girl again.
