I wasn’t allowed to watch MTV when I was younger. My mom came home from work and caught me watching Singled Out so many times, she actually called the cable company and had it BLOCKED. It was so sad flipping past channel 57 and seeing nothing but ugly, snowy static. My poor friends could never talk about last night’s Real World at lunch without me pouting.
Thank God there was one channel my mom approved of…Nickelodean.
Back in the day, Nickelodean was the SHIZ. TGIF was for nerds. The cool kids microwaved up some Kid Cuisine on Saturday night and watched SNICK.
Hello? Clarissa Explains it All with a pre-Sabrina Melissa Joan Hart? I wanted Clarissa to be my best friend (mostly because I wanted to raid her closet so badly).

Little Pete in The Adventures of Pete and Pete was my first TV crush. He was genius.

And he became even genius-er when he got a little chubby and moved over to…
ALL THAT. Keenan and Kel! Amanda Bynes before she got annoying! TLC singing the theme song!
Not to mention Salute Your Shorts, Hey Dude!, and the classic game shows GUTS (I wanted to be on GUTS sooooo bad it’s not even funny…do do do do ya have it?!?), Double Dare, and the illustrious Legends of the Hidden Temple.
How can you NOT scream at the TV when the stupid kid can’t put together the shrine of the silver monkey?
Screw you, Teen Nick. Old school Nickelodean is where it’s at.

Last night’s Project Runway was to die for.
Not just because the legendary Diane VonFurstenburg was a judge (love love LOVE her!)
But because…
*SPOLIER ALERT!*
…the most annoying Project Runway designer EVER…Stella…was FINALLY eliminated!
I could hear all the sighs of relief around the country.
Wanna see why I hate her “letha” face?

KATE HUDSON, the “Queen of Romantic Comedies,”told this month’s issue of
Cosmoplitan that she and her ex-husband,
CHRIS ROBINSON, are still
“basically living together.”Huh?
“We’ve figured it out. I mean, obviously nothing’s perfect, but I could never look at our divorce as a mistake. If anything, it’s the best thing that ever happened to us.”
That is taking staying friends with your ex to the next level!
Since her divorce, Kate has been linked with OWEN WILSON and his pal LANCE ARMSTRONG.
How awkward is that? Can you imagine bringing your boyfriend home to your house…that you still share with your EX? WEIRD!
I’m all about staying friends with the ex if the situation is right. But I could never still LIVE with my ex. Especially while dating other dudes!
Oh…and speaking of ex’s…I guess I have some news. But I’ll you about it tomorrow.

I was a little bummed when MATTHEW McCONAGUHEY, one of the weirdest celebs on the planet, named his baby boy Levi.
Yawn.
Aren’t celebrities supposed to name their babies something odd? Something that stands out? Something that makes them cringe at their high school graduation?
Thank you GAVIN ROSSDALE and GWEN STEFANI for bringing back the wacko baby name trend!
Mama Gwen gave birth to their second son…
Brace yourself…
ZUMA NESTA ROCK ROSSDALE.
YES!!!

Ok, I know it’s a touchy subject, but since everybody’s talking about it…why not.
Pictures have surfaced of BRISTOL PALIN’s baby daddy…LEVI JOHNSTON.
He’s 17, a hockey player, and I HAVE to say it…
HOT!!!

Agree? Disagree?
Am I a total creeper?

I look like total crap today.
My hoodie has holes in it. My hair looks like garbage. My voice is shot. I’m pretty sure I smell. And the only word coming out of my mouth all morning was…
“Wow.”
What a night.
You guys sure stepped it up last night for my first 98 PXY Summer Jam.
I know I’m still pretty much the “new girl,” but you made me (and my pants) feel more welcomed than I ever could have imagined.
I say we do it again next month. Whadda ya think?

Check his new video for “Good Morning,” directed by the man himself and illustrated by Takashi Murakami.
This makes me forgive him for the shutter shades incident.
